Greetings from the Worthy Matron & Worthy Patron

------------------------------------------------February 7th 2012 update:

Greetings from the East:

We began the New Year with a delicious meal and fellowship followed by reciting the re-obligation at our meeting.  It’s not too late to board our “Flight of Faith” journey.  We have plenty of reasonably priced seats available.  Come and check us out!
As February is upon us we look forward to you joining us at our pre-meeting dinner and fellowship this month on the 8th.  We always have plenty to eat.  The seating in the dining room is comfy, plus you don’t’ need a reservation.   Take the night off from cooking and join us at 6:30.   After dinner, our flight begins at 7:30; again, we have plenty of room just for you!  Sideliners are always welcomed to encourage our officers in their ritualistic work.
Our March 14th pre-meeting dinner and fellowship will begin at 6:15.  We will be having a special visit/demonstration at 6:45 PM from Dogtors, a medical dog team.   The team consists of Kodi, a Golden Retriever, and his handler.    Dogtors is a premier provider of animal assisted teams located in the Miami Valley area.  Currently, Dogtors have 3 training class locations (for the pet and their handler) in our area, one being Trinity Community of Beavercreek.  We look forward to their visit and hope you can join us too.  Our flight will begin at 7:30 where we will have our first practice initiation followed by tasty refreshments and fellowship after the meeting.  Protem candidates and sideliners are always welcomed.
If you know of a Sister or Brother who may be ill or in need of prayer, please contact me at 306-2926 or Sister April.
Star Friendship,

Kim & Alan

------------------------------------------------January 3rd 2012 update:

“And now abideth faith, hope and charity, but the greatest of these is charity.”  We would like to extend a BIG thank you to all of the Beaver Valley Chapter members for their generous donations to our recent community service projects.  A variety of food items were collected for students in the Beavercreek City Schools that often go hungry on the weekend.  The food items were delivered to the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, the sponsoring organization, where they were sorted and distributed to needy students.

In December, members again shared their kindness and generosity with the Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County.  In lieu of Christmas gifts, we collected many donations of health and hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and paper products.   These items were urgently needed and very much appreciated by those at the Center.

Plans for our January 11th meeting will include dinner at 6:30 PM followed by our Chapter meeting at 7:30 PM.  We look forward to sharing the evening with our Sisters and Brothers as we take the re-obligation together.   As our “flight of faith” journey continues, we invite you to come and visit in fellowship and encourage our officers as they display their ritualistic work.

Blessings to all for a healthy and happy 2012, Kim & Alan
